In the morning, take a flight to Greenland and head to the former US military base in the Arctic Circle-

Kangklussuaq.

Kanglussuaq is one of the best places in the world to watch the Northern Lights. The town is located in the inland area of Greenland and has a relatively stable climate. There are 300 days of cloudless days in a year, which meets the necessary conditions for viewing the Northern Lights. . In the evening, guests can enjoy the natural light show near the hotel and watch various shades of green light fluttering in the night sky.


Day 4 Kangerlussuaq - Greenland Ice Sheet (B/-/-)

To the Greenland Ice Sheet

In the past, only professional scientific expedition personnel had the opportunity to visit the Greenland ice sheet, which accounts for 83% of Greenland's area. Today, our guide takes us to this pure white world and lets us stand on many feet of ice! We took a special vehicle and passed through continuous mountains, plains, and semi-desert valleys to the Greenland ice sheet 30 kilometers away. Here is an endless ice field, filled with crystal clear blue streams, waterfalls and lakes formed by the water from melting ice. It is also the starting point for Arctic explorers crossing the Greenland ice sheet. The return journey passes through magnificent glaciers where we have the chance to meet arctic deer and other arctic animals.


Day 5 Kangerlussuaq - Ilulissat (B/-/D)

In the morning, take a flight to Ilulissat, the glacier capital of Greenland. Founded in 1741, Ilulissat is the the third largest town with more than 4,500 inhabitants.

Town cultural tour
Upon arrival, your guide will take you on a tour of this colorful Greenlandic town surrounded by glaciers. Visit historical and landmark buildings – Zion Church, museums, handicraft workshops, and the wharf where local fishermen shuttle, learn about the history of the town and the life of the Inuit people.

In the evening, enjoy a welcome dinner at the hotel.


Day 6 Ilulissat (B/-/-)

Ilulissat Icefjord

Today, head to the Ilulissat Icefjord and the Inuit ruins to admire the most active Ilulissat Glacier in the Northern Hemisphere. The Ilulissat Glacier produces 40 million tons of ice every day. The glacier is so magnificent. When we pass through the deep fjord, what we see is a huge iceberg stacked together. Facing this shocking picture, let us It can't be calmed down for a long time, which is why we have traveled thousands of miles to visit Greenland! UNESCO named the Ilulissat Icefjord a World Heritage Site in 2004.

Arctic Glacier Center
In the afternoon, head to the center of the largest glacier in the Arctic. The Ilulissat Glacier is one of the most active glaciers in the Northern Hemisphere. Since 1850, humans have systematically observed changes in the Ilulissat Glacier, which has provided valuable information for scientists studying global climate change. In June 2021, the Ilulissat Glacier Center will be completed and open to the public. The glacier center is integrated with the magnificent natural landscape around it. The glacier center records the story of the glacier and the history of Greenland. The exhibition area and cinema in the center display precious films and materials on the impact of climate change on the glacier.


Day 7 Ilulissat (B/-/-)

Sail to Disko Bay to see giant icebergs

In the afternoon, take a special boat to Disko Bay to watch the huge icebergs and the magnificent Ilulissat Glacier at close range. The Ilulissat Glacier is the only glacier in the world that sits on the edge of a city. Due to its unique terrain, countless huge icebergs accumulate at the mouth of the sea, forming magnificent glacial fjords. Whether you look at it from a distance or watch it up close, it is very shocking.

In the afternoon, guests can hike to the Icefjord to watch the sunset.


Day 8 Ilulissat - Rhode Bay - Ilulissat (B/-/-)

Sail to the hidden Inuit Fishing Village
In the past few decades, the population of many remote Green towns has been decreasing, and the population has migrated to large towns. Today, sailing to a small Inuit village that is disappearing - the small fishing village of Rhode Bay. After 40 minutes, what was displayed in front of our eyes was a small Inuit fishing village with only 28 people in the 18th century. Here, time seemed to have stopped. We will visit this small whaling fishing village, where residents rely on hunting as their main income. Enjoy a traditional Greenlandic lunch at a seaside restaurant.


Day 9 Rhode Bay Fishing Village (B/L/D)

Today free & easy, guest can enjoy Greenlandic food and coffee in the restaurant of the town, walk around the town and experience the life of the local Inuit residents. There are alot of specialy shops in the town for guests to buy Greenlandic souvenirs - Greenlandic carvings, Greenlandic sweaters, Greenlandic stamps, etc


Day 10 Ilulissat - Kangerlussuaq - Copenhagen (B/L/-)

In the morning, head to the airport, leave Greenland, the pure land on earth, and take a flight to Copenhagen,
the capital of Denmark, which arrives in the evening.
